STUDENT OF THE MONTH

Molly M.

April of 2018

CAVE staff nominated Molly because she is very thorough and creative with every assignment.  She has great attention to detail and she is very inquisitive.  Teachers commented that it is fun to see what new projects that Molly comes up with and they love her excitement for learning.

​

Molly likes to draw, read, write stories and work on projects.  The best thing that she likes about CAVE is being able to do Project Based Learning (PBL).    She loves the freedom to choose what you want to learn about.   Molly does have a favorite class, because she loves them all!

​

Molly's advise to other students if you are interested in PBL, give it a try.  It is a great way to explore things that you are interested in.

​

Molly is not sure what she wants to do after high school.  She wants to explore all of the opportunities out there.

Matthew M.

March of 2018

CAVE staff nominated Matthew because he has grown a lot with his preparedness, attention to detail and grades in all of his subjects.  He has shown excellent improvement in his Math class.

​

Matthew likes to hunt and fish, especially with his family.  What Matthew likes most about CAVE is that he can work right from home.  His favorite classes are Science and English.

​

After high school, Matthew wants to go straight into the workforce.

Autumn K.

CAVE staff nominated Autumn because she is an outstanding student that shows great maturity in completion of work and in oral presentations.  She has shown excellent improvement in writing and focusing on her classes.

​

Autumn likes to fish, hunt build things, work tech (soundboard/system)and serving others.  She recently was able to help out with a local play working backstage, moving props and helping with costumes.

​

Autumn mentions that CAVE is the best school that she has gone to out of any private, public or home school system.  What she likes most about CAVE is the teachers.  She mentions that she has fantastic, loving, caring and hardworking teachers, that are always there to support her and go the extra mile.

​

Her advice to other CAVE students is to not be afraid to ask questions, have fun, work hard and never give up!

​

After high school, Autumn is considering going into Law to become a become a Public Defender to help those who can't afford a good attorney.
