WELCOME TO OUR

PARENTS' CORNER

CAVE has a FACEBOOK Page . . .

If you are interested in what new is happening, sharing ideas and sharing resources you can check out our CAVE FACEBOOK page at https://www.facebook.com/CameronAcademyofVirtualEducation/

CAVE JUNIORS and SENIORS . . .

All Junior and Seniors should take some time to look and apply for scholarships.  From my prior experience, many scholarships go un-awarded due to the fact that many students feel that they don’t have a chance.  Please trust me when I say, APPLY anyway!  If you need a letter of recommendation you can contact any of your teachers or the CAVE Administrator.

Here is a great link to find out a little more about scholarships: http://www.cameron.k12.wi.us/component/finder/search.html?q=scholarships&Itemid=101

CAVE has a Parent Advisory Group . . .

This group is very similar to a PTA group in that it is a way to help support our school and staff, as well as help shape our school's curriculum and governance boad.  They meet every other month and you can do so via online.  We are always looking for new members with new ideas.  It is also a great way to see a little more indepth of how things work.

CAVE has a Governance Board . . .

If you are interested in really having a hand in shaping our program, please consider joining the CAVE Governance Board.  They meet every other month.  At these meetings, members set policy, analyze budgets and enrollment numbers as well as make decisions that shape the way we do things.

CAVE Board Agendas, Minutes, Handbook . . .

CAVE State Testing. . .

WISCONSIN STATE TESTING DATES seem to be similar to what we had this year.  Forward testing will be on April 26.  As always these could change, but the rumor is that it could stay the same.

Here is a link of the updated information we are getting from the State:

ACT TESTING - is FREE for all Juniors and the schedule dates right now are February 27 and 28, 2018  (yes, the State requires 2 days of testing) in Cameron.

As always, the CAVE staff will work hard to set up and procoter all of these exams according to Wisconsin DPI regulations and in the most efficient way possible.  Knowing it is very hard to please everyone, please be patient and considerate of the limited flexibilities that we have.
